World Cup Fever!

The four year wait is nearly over; the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa will soon be underway. ONLY 35 DAYS TO GO! The world’s greatest players along with hundreds of thousands of fans will descend upon the south coast of Africa to take in what is arguably the greatest sporting event in the world. Various countries around the globe will come to a standstill to watch their team try to become the best Football nation on the planet. Pubs will be packed to the rafters, partners will be forgotten about and pets will go hungry as all attention shifts to South Africa. This is the first time the Football World Cup has been held in Africa and consequently the major sporting brands are queuing up to get involved in all things African. Newly designed t-shirts, jeans, sweaters and jeggings have been created with an African flavour. Many clothing brands are starting to jump on the Football bandwagon as World Cup fever takes over. Some of the best examples include Gio Goi’s own brand of Football Tees. These are t-shirts specifically designed for the World Cup. Some of these Football Tees are clad in the tri colours of Italy and the colurs of Brazil; allowing the wearer to both support their country and look trendy. My home country of Scotland may not be involved but i’m still going to try and take in every single game, a tall order I know but one i am willing to make sacrifices for.

Is ‘Elvis Jesus’ The Coolest Name In Fashion?

I’ve just come across this brand and it looks brilliant. Elvis Jesus. That is what they are called! Brilliant name, love the thinking process behind this label name. ‘Lets just stick together the two most popular, talked about names in history.’ I’m going to start up my own brand, it’s called ‘Cesaer Hitler’ The website looks so clean and appealing. Some of their clothes are really cool if a little too pricey. Certainly a nice getaway from the same old brands like G Star and Diesel. These clothes seem to have an originality and personality I like. I love it when certain brands are so out there and willing to push the boundaries. I think the expensive price comes down to the fact that each item of clothing is handcrafted. Certainly looks like many hours have been applied to the design of this T-shirt.

Elvis Jesus seem to specialise in T-shirts but i’m really digging their polo shirts.

T-shirts I don’t think get more controversial than this. I don’t know what blasphemy is but i’m sure this is pretty close.

I don’t know how long Elvis Jesus have been around for but i doubt i will forget them soon.

Deadmau5 Style!

I have been a huge fan of Gio-Goi for some time. Their T-shirts are some of my favourites. I am an even bigger fan of the DJ Deadmau5. So I was delighted to have recently learnt that Deadmau5 has been working in conjunction with Gio-Goi to sport some of their latest collections. Deadmau5 has always been a bit of a trendsetter so I thought this was the perfect marriage.

Here he is on the Decks whilst wearing one of Gio Goi’s T-shirts – one which I already have. I love it when celebs are pictured wearing clothes I have already bought.

Deadmau5 is playing at the McAllen Convention centre, New York, this weekend. If there wasn’t an ash cloud hanging over my head, i would probably consider the trip.
